There are essentially four steps to getting your Illinois Real Estate Broker License.
1. The first step is to take the 75-hour pre-licensing broker course. You can take this course in person or online through accredited schools.
2. The second step is taking and passing the state licensing exam. It’s 140 multiple-choice questions, and you have four attempts to pass.
3. The third step after passing the exam is to find your sponsoring broker. This is the brokerage you will hang your license with and gain mentorship from.
4. Once you’ve found your sponsoring broker, the fourth step is applying for your license with the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation. You will apply with your sponsoring broker’s license number.
We take care of the first step and offer multiple 75-hour class options.
