Some studies suggest that in-person attendance may be associated with better academic performance and higher success rates compared to online attendance. However, it is important to note that this may not be the case for all students or all courses.
Factors such as the nature of the course, teaching methods, individual learning styles, and access to technology can all impact the effectiveness of online learning. Additionally, the COVID-19 pandemic has shown that online learning can be a viable alternative to in-person instruction, and many universities and colleges have successfully transitioned to hybrid or fully online models.
Ultimately, the best approach will depend on the unique needs and circumstances of individual students, as well as the specific course and teaching style. A hybrid approach that allows students to choose between online and in-person attendance may be a good option for many students who require flexibility or who prefer a particular mode of learning.
