When it comes to taking real estate classes, you can either attend sessions that are held in a traditional classroom environment or study at your own pace online. Both options cover the same material, and can take approximately the same amount of time to complete. So which one is better? Live In-Class Presentations
Our live, in-class brokers’ courses include 75 hours of instruction by experienced professionals in the field. Following this, you will then be required to take a 15-hour course before being allowed to take the final exam.  When you take live classes, you’ll be in a better position to ask questions if you are having difficulty with some of the subject matter. You’ll also be more likely to stay on track, since there are firmer deadlines for completion of the course.
A disadvantage of in-person classes is the fact that there is little flexibility in scheduling. If you currently work odd hours or have family obligations to consider, attending every class session could be difficult. This could cause you to fall behind in your work, or even be dismissed from the course in some cases.
Online Courses
Scheduling isn’t a problem when you take online courses, as you can complete your work anytime of the day or night. This makes it easier for working adults to pursue their dreams of becoming an Illinois real estate agent. All you need is an Internet connection, and you can easily complete assignments no matter where you are.
Getting help with difficult material could be challenging when taking online courses. Although instructors are available via email, you could wait several hours before receiving a response to one of your questions. There’s also the temptation to put work off until the last minute, and if an unexpected emergency happens, this could cause you to miss deadlines or fall behind your other online classmates.
If you require flexibility and are easily self-motivated, online learning could work very well for you. On the other hand, live classes might be best if you prefer a structured environment and can easily manipulate your schedule.
