The “new normal” is a term we as a community are still getting familiarized with due to the ongoing effects of COVID-19.  Life as we knew it is changing to better accommodate to everyday formalities as we rejoin society.  Along with mask wearing and continuous handwashing, businesses are the forefront leaders to adapt to this current state of living to better assist to consumers.

Chicago is well known for the rooftops and balconies that grace almost every street within the city.  From hotels, 2 bedroom apartments, and nightlife locations- balconies are a common ground to residents and tourists of the area.  With that being said, the demand for balconies within private residential areas are now at an all-time high.  Social distancing is still an ongoing and important action we all must take, balconies allow us a taste of our forgotten freedom we desperately long for.
