Illinois requires brokers to take a 90-hour broker pre-licensing course as well as
pass the state licensing exam to practice. Brokers can assist with the leasing,
selling and buying of residential, commercial and industrial properties.
The course is divided into two sections.
- The first 75 hours consist of 45 hours of class lectures taught by our instructors and 30 hours of at home study (homework). Followed by an exam.
- Final 2 days of this course is called an Interactive Session which provides students with the remaining 15 credit hours needed to complete the course. This is the application of course related material to real life scenarios. Followed by an exam.
Attendance is mandatory. Students will receive a transcript and assistance with AMP registration after attending every class. All classes are held at Chicago Real Estate Institute located in Lincoln Park at 2711 N Halsted Chicago IL 60614. If a student misses 1 full day of class or more, they will have to re enroll in another program and pay a $150.00 re enrollment fee.
